Besides, how can you make a new model with the same abilities as one of the already existing Specials by accident? Valve revealed the Female Boomer about three months before launch. That's enough time to correct a mistake.

Do you have any sources or whatnot to prove what the title says is true? Or is this a joke and I'm taking it too seriously?

I'm curious as to why they decided to only pluralize the boomer and not the other infected. I think a female hunter would be pretty gruesome. Female tank? Male witch? Oh god what have I done..

I'm shocked, it's pretty obvious...

It's because then survivors need to listen for two different pitched sounds that distinguish boomers from other specials, which makes it twice as hard to hear under a horde or something like that.

It's a gameplay mechanics thing, or should we not discuss that?
