Thread: Bots....

I always find that if they're miles away they don't bother shooting hunters off you they just think it's better to trek all the way over to you and then shove them off. However when they're right in front of you they wait for you to lose about half your health before finally taking the time to attempt to shoot it off you.

Im pretty sure they were nerfed in a L4D1 patch, looks like they decided to stay that way.

Y'know it amazes me how I've met so many people who are worse than the bots.

I've played with people who will heal when your being smoked. People who will pounce on the guy you've smoked and god knows how many other retarded incidents. No matter how stupid the bots are, they will never amount to some of the things you see from real players.

Bots can revive you even if either of you are getting hit, which is one of the only advantages they have over human players. The other is being able to psychically tell where you are when you're an SI in VS... so annoying. Often I'd rather face an average player than a bot, as they make nabbing someone so much harder on there in the open.

Of course on campaign they seem to like watching you be pummeled for a while before attacking, jumping out of windows, healing you at horribly inappropriate moments, hanging back looking at the scenery during rolling crescendos, not shooting the one infected behind you but getting everything else in an instant with their godly aim, and more.
