Thread: L4D maps in L4D2

Yesterday I saw in versus some games avaliable for Crash Course... So I clicked the link and I downloaded all the maps from L4D1.
First I thought it was something cheap and BETA where almost nothing works, but turns out it's actually working great! Not only the maps work, but also the new infected seem to fit right into the old maps as a glove. Also the maps have a more dark feeling to it, even more than before.






































This last picture, the colors are bright because of the explosion.
I thought that this special events wouldn't work, that there would just be a button to click and start the crescendo, but turns out all the details are there, the crashing plane from dead air, the tank rescue from blodd harvest, etc.

And spread it around. I would like to have some versus matches avaliable to play =(.... it's really hard to find 8 people with this maps.

More details:

Old minigun isn't there, we have the new one that stands on the Swamp Fever house finale.
While playing on campaign, Expert is 2 times more hard than before, with fast S.I. spawn. Even in Normal I managed to die on death toll finale, which would have been a joke before.

Turns out the maps aren't perfect yet. Somehow yesterday I got into a server where all the maps of L4D1 were looping and they all were working, but then later I tried on single player... we can go through objects? And I can't pass the Dead Air 2 crescendo, because we go through the metal box thing with the ladder and fall off the building.

I'm spreading the word so I can play the originals GLORY once MOAR!

What is the sound dubbing like? The biggest issue I can see is the possibility that aside from Friendly Fire, incapping, etc. that there would be no conversation between survivors.

There is no replacement yet, for the conversations that is, this is a work in progress.
