Left 4 Dead 3 wouldn't bother me. I like new characters and all, but really, they don't need to go killing the old ones, especially not in what seems to be such a terribly planned out ways. If they do, though...I really hope the rest can keep on truckin'.

It gives the series more character.

Honestly I just think Valve is just being a huge troll right now. It's not like them to spoil something like this publicly. This isn't going to draw in new fans, it's just going to piss off a lot of the old ones, and they (should) know this. My guess is that either a background character is killed, or the character only APPEARS to die. Chet was pretty...tricky and evasive in that interview, IMO.

How is it not supporting the game, its adding something to the story of L4D1, that is indeed supporting it. I dont get your reasoning, killing someone isnt killing a game. If anything it makes the game better.

That is actually quite a possibility,

But Bill is old, his time could be coming to an end.

TBH i would be annoyed if they told us someone was going to die than just pull something like that.

Bill was the only person to not record new lines for crash course so either the person who played hi in real life isnt interested in contributing to the game anymore or has died in real life...who knows.

EDIT: actually the 4 original survivors do have lines according to IMDB

So I doubt anyone dies.
