everyone is getting so mixed up in this thread :rofl: in "the passing" the l4d1 survivor WILL already be dead , so you will only meet up with 3 of them!!! it will be explained how they died through the comic or maybe the l4d1 dlc (even though you get to choose who dies, which is confusing i know, that one character is gonna be dead no matter who you choose

most likely bill) if i could choose someone to die - it would be zoey, cause i find bill, francis & louis amazing & interesting - but ah well im going off topic

i was just telling you guys who were speculating that basically the l4d1 survivor will already be dead in the passing so you can stop complaining and guessing etc.

Francis and Nick are going to be arguing with eachother alot, so its not Francis who dies, and Ellis gets a crush on Zoey so it can't be Zoey. It's either BILL or LOUIS.

I honestly don't give a crap about the stories at this point, I just want a decent campaign! I'm bored as hell with the L4d2 campaigns, didn't think they were all that good to begin with. Can we just get an awesome campaign please? Louis better make it though, he was my favorite

Actually Chet just mentioned the crush as a possibility...but Francis and Nick will fight.
I think it'd be cute for Ellis to crush on Zoey though. I can't see her returning the affection. He seems like he'd be the type to be really awkward and try to do nice things for her and show off and she would be oblivious. He's so freakin precious.

After thinking about it after awhile... what the hell? Can Valve answer me why? They moved on to Left 4 Dead 2, why kill a character from a previous game just to hype up the fans for DLC... oh, wait, money DURR.

I just find it frustrating that Valve is bringing up the original series, killing off a character, and then just throwing them back in the ditch. Awesome, typical Valve.

If it's Louis, I think my cries of despair will be heard in several West coast states. I'll miss that pill monger.

But I also think Bill may be the one to get the axe. Almost all signs point to it: and it would be a heroic end for one of the fan's favorite characters.

Though, if you guys have seen, in the original L4D cutscene Louis DOES make all of the mistakes. he startles the witch, his bullet sets off the car alarm, he runs off on his own chasing the helicopter and gets pounced by a hunter, and he's the guy who loudly screams in terror at the zombies, without even knowing that he should run and shoot at the same time. I think he's portrayed as one of the, "Noobs" of the group in that cutscene. Perhaps having him die would be a way of redeeming himself?
