Thread: Realism VS ruined it

After playing realism VS all weekend long it totally ruined normal VS for me. Normal VS seems like a total joke now. And its so much fun!!!

This is the way VS should be.

-Nrml infected are now a PAIN in the ass, rather than a THORN in your side

-Teams that spread out too far and rush to abuse the AI director and screw up SI spawning are punished. They can keep that horse crap in nrml VS now where it belongs.

-Teams that DON"T pay attention and cover their teams are punished

-Witches are a serious threat

-Items are harder to find and see

Add that all together with the lack of melee weapon spawns at the start and this is the L4D2 game that I've always wanted.


Honestly, i hope this mode becomes a permanent VS option. Because after playing it all weekend it just seems that normal VS is for beginners. I think its about time the trainining wheels came off.

I hope Realism vs becomes permanent now too. I had so much fun playing it last night.

only one of my friends has the passing, so i was forced into pub teams. o. dear. lord. it was horrid. im rather impartial to the idea, its not my favorite idea, but i would like to have it recycled back into the playlist in a month or two, once a larger percent of players have the passing

Agree. Realism versus is such a blast: why can't we have it as an optional, "Harder" versus for the players who enjoy difficulty?

I'll be sad to see it go this week, but at the very least we'll hopefully get a cool new mode. I wonder what, "Bleedout" will be...
