Possible chat glitch?

Ok so me and my friends are playing the stage finale in versus. All of a sudden I start hearing some kid talking. Saying things like will you be my friend and bla bla. I watched the screen and NO mics are popping up to show my teammates speaking(no we werent in party). Eventually were all going how is he doing this? So has anyone heard of a glitch that works in this manner? It was obvious it was a prank I'm just wondering how he did it.

By the way like an hour or so before that I had some kid swearing up and down he was going to hack me for kicking him from our lobby. I blew it off as an immature teen. It isnt possible imo to hack on a 360 because it wasnt designed in a way tht would make tht possible(modding excluded) but I could see maybe hacking xbox.com in some way..?

I was in a 360 game a few weeks ago and I could not hear my team. However I could hear the other team and they were complaining about my team hacking. My team was spawning tanks, witches, etc in a scavenge game at the motel. They also spawned a bunch of bumper cars to block the team in the swimming pool area. I messaged people on the other team to say that I did not know those people and I could hear them chatting about reporting all of us. I kept quitting and doing quick match and I would get back in that game on the hackers team. Eventually I ended up on the other team and tried to play a round. The hackers would spawn gas cans right at the generator so it was impossible to beat them. Fun stuff.
