L4D Error (PC)

Hi, I have a problem In L4D whenever i start it up.
Once I start it up, The Valve and Source images come up fine.
After The Intro Finishes my screen goes to a load Screen,
with no particular campaign, it just has Louis,Zoey,Francis and bill surrounded by zombies in a green background.
Can Anyone please help me with this problem?

Is this a copy you bought on disc, or downloaded via Steam?

I bought The Disc
It has worked for like 6 months now it dosent work anymore

Try doing a verify integrity via steam. Also, have you installed any custom maps in your addons folder? If so, try deleting them or moving them to another folder.
