It's kinda fun but it gets old fast in pub games. Like someone said earlier the skill level stays as low as it is.

I Always play pub games no1 is on l4d2 when am on everyone plays normal when i play expert :P

I would like to always play Realism Versus, but the ratio of normal Versus to Realism Versus (on the PC, at least) is ridiculous. As in, there are very few Realism Versus games compared to normal Versus games.

Realism VS is the "REAL" VS of Left 4 Dead 2. Hell, realism VS is the most skilled VS of L4D period in my books.

People who complain abut it and other players just can't take the heat.

They're to used to dancing around, going where they want and not paying attention in normal VS. Then they jump into the realism VS, take a ass whippin and blame other players and quit the game or stop playing realism VS altogether.

For me when i want to play a easy game of VS il play L4D normal VS. When i want to play a simpler game of L4D with more hunter spawns il play L4D1.. And when i want a "REAL" game of VS on play some realism VS.

Now i know alot of players cry about newbs and bad players... But sooo what. Suck it up and take the beating or just quit like the rest of dorks that are too "COOL" to lose in a public match. Kick them or find a new games works too...

My reward for being on the "BAD" team is long infected turns. Least you can do is try and die before your infected turn.

Realism VS is it, but for those who can't handle it they will always have easy VS.

I've never actually tried realism vs, I guess it's only good if you and your teammates pay attention and stay alert.

I'd probably only play it if I was in the mood, which I hardly ever am! xD I'd need people to talk to though otherwise I'd get annoyed.

When I started playing realism VS I realized pretty quickly that I had come to rely on the outlines of other players too much. Play it long enough and you'll get a lot better at keeping up with your team mates.

Another thing it helps out a ton with: shot placement. The commons require multiple shots to down if you don't go for the head.

Disagree with the bold, regular versus is *NOT* easy because your team is made or broke when your the infected, cause well you know, the survivors get showered in health the entire time., have the outlines, you know, the reasons WHY people play realsim>normal.

Sure realism may be hard with teamwork as survivors cause i play it so much that i love it to death, but the reason people say *not going back to regular versus* is just how hard it is on the infected to stop a good survivor team getting those points/getting to the saferoom while finding pills/healthkits all along the way at different points of the level to pretty much forget your last attack even happened.

Fact of the matter is, it takes soooooooooooooo much more skill with the infected to win in normal versus then in realism because admit it when for example you charge someone into like a big bush you pretty much get away with an incap/kill simply over the fact the teammates cant find him, the only thing i can say is with normal versus with the infected people(least the ones i play with) are MUCH more organized in their attacks to take down the survivors as hard as that is but in realism i see people randomly attacking to try and get that one survivor IN that bush....im jus saying since you said normal vs is easy when its not at least in terms of infected...

Yeah I've literally tried it once in a public game on 360 and it was shit 'cause my team were retarded. I really want to try it with some mates but no-one I play with regularly is really up for it... I hate playing non-team versus as public games just suck.

I've been wanting to try it since I got The Passing anyway. If anyone wants to hit me up.

Its harder as infected because its easier as survivors.

It doesn't take more skill it takes luck.

Fact is it takes more 'skill' to survive in realism VS, which is the way i like it.
And realism is the way the game should be played. When i want an easy game that takes less effort to play il play normal vs.

This is the reason why "REALISM" is better then normal vs..

Common zombies are a real pain in the ass. Witches are respected. Finding supplies/weapons is a chore. And NO sissy lil auras to count on to make up for BAD survivor game play. You gotta think, remember and pay attention.

You can't just put your head down, spread out and run as fast as you can with a melee weapon and ranged weapon to the safe room for health pack pillow fights. Even if the other team is garbage, ONE good player can still pull off a GREAT SI attack and take advantage of their shitty survivor playing style. You can't just NOT pay attention and just aim for the red auras when people need help.

Theres a certain grind and fear that comes with playing in realism that you don't get in normal VS. I luv the grind and getting my ass beat down. SOme people just can't handle it.

They can't handle the grind, they can't handle gettin beat down and they can't handle playing VS with the training wheels off.
