Sounds like you've got a pretty decent gaming rig there. You should be able to enjoy the game in all its visceral glory. Here are a couple tidbits of advice:
-Get yourself a headset/mic if you don't already have one. It makes the game much easier to play, and much more enjoyable to play with friends. Co-ordination without voice chat tends to be more difficult and stops the action.
-Don't be afraid to ask questions to your teammates if there's something you don't understand.
Enjoy the game, and welcome to the horde!

Thanks I appreciate the input.
I have a headset vent, axion, skype and team speak so i'm all set there.
I am running through some campaigns in SP to get a feel for things.. man they sure don't skimp on the zombies lol I love the piles of diseased bodies and peices ya leave in your wake.
Hats off to Valve once again for a great experience.
Techy66 is my steam account name also.

24 hrs played and 19 achievments later man this game is really good.
Something about a Valve game draws you in more than any other ( imo for me)
I think its the total package.. if after 80 trillion zombies have died in 100's of games
over the years and they can still make it feel like a new experience.
2 to go in SP normal mode and now 2 friends and my brother in law saw it and went out and purchased it today
I see many dead zombies in co-op in the near future.
glad i got this late it will keep me busy through the winter.
