Thread: Poor, poor witch.

Now that I know how easy it is to crown the girl, I feel kinda bad for her. I try not to crown her but, when I need to it's so easy.

What could be done to make the Witch a more fearsome force again? I read somewhere than having her death scream attract a huge horde would encourage players to sneak around her the proper way. I think that'd be a perfect update to help her out.

And before anyone tells me to pump up the difficulty, I'm not the kinda crazo that just jumps on Expert 'cause I'm just that damn good.

I would have to agree. It's annoying how now whenever there is a player with a shotgun, no need to worry about the Witch. If it had qualities somewhat like a Boomer I would have to agree, more people would take their time going around her.

Well, I think it's just coincidence, but most times I kill the witch a horde comes pretty close. It really sucks when I light her on fire and then a horde comes around.

But, yeah, I do feel sorry for her. I just blast two shots into their back and then they just scream and slowly stumble to their death. They aren't cute, but they kinda remind me of Allison Harvard, and that's really badass. But to think about Allison Harvard while blowing out a chicks brains doesn't make me feel very good.

It does kinda suck how much of a joke she has become now that a lot of people can cr0wn her with their eyes closed. Most of the time in Versus it is a cr0wn and most of the time on Expert I see her lit of fire then shot to death. Unless it's a Wandering Witch, those are a complete joke.

I do believe the growl from the Witch when you get close attracts a small horde, which usually isn't a problem because she is either instantly killed or we don't get close enough for her to get some agro.

I like the idea of the death scream attracting a horde to give people the incentive to sneak past, but they would also have to make it so that the Witch is always avoidable. I've played many games where the Witch was absolutely unavoidable. Also, when I play I usually like to kill the Witch to be sure that if we have to run back we won't have to deal with her then when we aren't really prepared for it.

I like it when the Witch is placed on a strange object like on top of a sign. She can't be cr0wned from the odd angle and if you try to stun her with a sniper or explosive she just falls and starts running after you. Plus the fire doesn't burn high enough to reach her. Funny stuff.

I have no problem with blowing out a brain, whether it be a male or female brain. Besides, it's just a game.

I don't particularily see WHY she'd need to be avoidable all the time. If you absolutely have to crown her or kill her, so be it. A group of survivors should know how to deal with a horde. I see far more positives than negatives for here.

Well, I'm not saying I think it's immoral. It's just kinda lame that the witch sucks so much unless you shoot her unintentionally while shooting at something else. Which, even then, you can usually throw a molotov, shoot a gas can, or get on a ledge and force her to climb (which ends up giving more time to kill her) before she can catch you.

I'm just odd, because I connect the witch with creepychan. So I always feel like I'm killing a virtual zombie version of creepychan, which isn't cool.

I suppose ALWAYS avoidable was the wrong choice of words. Maybe have her be avoidable more often is better if there is a threat once you kill her as oppose to leaving her alone.
