Re: Call of Duty 4
This game, is game of the year material.
People will say, oh it has been done before, but you go experience COD:4 MODERN WARFARE and tell me it doesn't blow you away.
Infinity ward was just like, we are going to make an fps that totally kicks fucking ass. And that is what came out as the end product.

Re: Call of Duty 4
My vote is a hesitant yes. I've only played the single player demo, but from what I've seen of the game it seems like it has the potential to be hilarious amounts of fun, IF all of the necessary multiplayer functionality has been put in properly.

Re: Call of Duty 4
I've been playing the game for the last few days and have found it to be incredibly addicitive (late nights abound). The rank up and challange system (where you earn sights, scopes, grips, and goodies by preforming certain tasks in multiplayer) is refreshing and the action is intense and unending. From what I can tell, it offers the best of CS in Search and Destroy bomb modes, a good dose of Battlefield with the capture the control points Domination mode, along with crazy arcadey fun in the Old School mode. My only complaint at this point is the severe lack of good VOIP (it's there, but with no squad system it's like trying to organize 15 ADD twelve year olds to quietly read for an hour). If we could get that signature TTP teamwork in there, theres no telling how bloody great this game could be.
