Are you blaming me for saying the F-bomb? Everyone uses it even Obama does. I dont know whats going on but tell me more so i can understand.

From the COD 4 Server Rules sticky:

#4. Abusive conduct cannot be tolerated.

If you are an abusive player, with insulting communications with your team, and purposely playing to lose, expect to be punished very quickly and harshly. However, since we are a mature server, occasionally it will be the responsibility of members of the team to speak out against slow acting, weak, or ignorant players (such as those not holding valuable territory, persistent campers, etc). The admins would GREATLY APPRECIATE the team to take care of it's own problems, rather than having to step in and start burning people alive and kicking problem players. All players are encouraged to speak clearly and calmly to get their team on the same page, however the server understands that some people just don't listen. In these cases, some yelling and screaming may be involved. The admin will make a judgment depending on the circumstances for any case of abuse resulting in a hostile playing environment. Should you feel that the admin is the cause of the abuse, feel free to post such comments in our abuse forum.

If you are a player being berated by your teammates, instead of jumping up and shouting back, listen to their complaints. Did you block the door? Are you not assisting in taking flags when you are able to do so? Are you selling out the team strategy? Then you deserve to be criticized, and you should modify your playing style to help the team, rather than defending your non-teamplayer attitude. The admin can always solve the problem easily in this situation. The problem isn't the yelling and cursing....the problem is you, the non-teamplayer, and you will be removed from the server.

We do not police language on the server. What we police is any behavior that is not conducive to team play or the flow of the game, which includes abusive language or behavior. Many players joke around with each other using the harshest and most offensive language imaginable, but the intent is not malicious. Players may also speak harshly out of frustration with teammates who are not helping the team or are perpetually careless and have an inordinate number of tk's. As the rules sticky mentions, harsh language may occasionally be required to motivate a player to do what he should to help his team.

It is a difficult thing to judge when a player's language has crossed the line into abusive behavior. When the language and the resulting verbal sparring become a distraction to the players or threaten teamplay, then it becomes the admin's job to deal with it. Usually a warning will suffice. Obviously, if the admin's warnings are ignored, then more drastic measures may be necessary.

It has been my experience that really abusive players do not last long on TTP servers. Such players are usually voted off and learn very quickly that their behavior is not welcome and will not be tolerated. My suggestion for dealing with those who hurl the occasional F Bomb your way is to ignore them or laugh at them. They will not last long on our server if their behavior is truly abusive.

And that should be the end of that subject. We do not need this thread getting clogged up.

DeathKenll was not following orders of capturing the flags on Overgrown tonight. Instead he camped and did absoultly nothing. He got out ofthe server and came back in to reset his score only to leave after 5mins. He un-evend the teams forcing me to go onto the other team multiple times. Also killed me for no aparent reason only to see on the killcam that he did look at me and then shoot me. I wasent able to get the kill cam video because GAY xfire desided to disconnect from the server for 5 mins.

This happend at around 6:45 to 7:00pm EST on your cod4 server.

In those Screen shots we where playing killhouse FFA to get the server going. the entire game Xavsnipe sat out in spec.



The next game, Xav again spent the entire time in spec. Idle. At some point in killhouse i asked in public chat, for an admin to kick him for idling but was either not noticed or no admin was on at the time. He was vote kicked about a minute after that screen shot. The map time limit is 30 minutes last time i checked. Which means he spent 30 minutes idle in Killhouse. And around 15 minutes idle in the map after that. (sorry the name of the map escapes me right now). That is 45 minutes of Idle time.

Rules: Since the points are based on timeplayed, only, and not actions/scores, the only real concern is about people idling in the server. We saw this a bit in CoD:WaW's contest, however it's mostly due to it's inept kicking mechanism of spectators. All participants should be warned that if you are caught repeatedly sitting around, idle, in-game, most especially at late hours, you will be accused of exploiting the contest, and voted upon by the admins to be eliminated from the competition. Play. Don't sit idle. Play.

You have been a regular on the servers for a while now. And you're in the contest. I hope it was not purposeful idling for time. But rules are rules, and I report what I see.
