Try BF2:PRM it is worse! Greater distances etc. Nothing to orient yourself but a compass at the bottom of the screen and a map you hit 'm' for. Tough for sure never knowing where or when the enemies will be right behind you/infront of you. You can die even faster in PR than here on the hardcore server. Often enough one shot is good enough to drop you. you count yourself lucky if you get hit and find cover and still live..........oh enough of my slobbering over PR. Game on!

I've honestly taken to firing my SMGs when I enter a room blindly (without flash grenades) by stutter firing like Neo in the Matrix when he goes to rescue Morpheus. Combined with the MP5 and AK74u :6
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

i love the quickness of CoD:4,,, its what makes me play it so much more than CS:S... i hate slow walking all the way through a building just to get shot in the head and have to wait up to a few minutes just to do it all over again...

i feel like the aim is better in CoD:4 as well...

I forget which map it was, but I could have sworn there was a marine in this corner, and I kept shooting it. ... only to walk up and discover it was an exposed bricks texture on the painted building, just the right hight of a person.

Yeah, I'm sure everyone's done that. It's even worse when you're playing search and destroy and you give away your position firing at a bit of shrubbery.

I did that more or less in real life once. Except that it was a 4 day non-stop game of full-contact capture the flag, and I kept sending in someone junior to me to scout out some leaves that looked like a person partially due to the moonlight and partially due to the fact I hadn't slept in a while. There's nothing quite like knocking a person off their feet, slamming them into a tree in the process, and then spinning them beneath you to cushion your fall, or the thrill of the enemy attacking after a long period of disturbing tranquility.
