    Freelook?

I was playing in ya'lls COD4 server today and noticed that you have free look on after you die. free look (or whatever you want to call it) is nice but it allows payers to spot enemy's position for friendly giving an unfair advantage. anyway just my 2 cents.

I've wondered why we've started this as well I mean it's nice knowing where everyone is but it doesn't seem fair Also it helps to pass the time during HQ giving you a birds eye view of the battle after you die. But it still seems unfair...

This is enabled for spectator mode to work properly, which is pretty necessary for our admins to spot hackers.

    have you been drinking?

Yeah without this turned on the admin has to constantly team switch to spectate which is hard to do and gives away who the admins are.

Activision Reveals Call of Duty Subscription Plans

dotarray writes "Activision has denied it and denied it, but now it's been revealed – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will feature an online service (that's what Call of Duty Elite is), complete with monthly subscription fees. 'Activision executives said they haven't yet figured out how much to charge for the service, but they expect the cost to be less than fees for comparable online-entertainment services, such as a $7.99-a-month Netflix Inc. movie subscription. Portions of the service will be free, including features inspired by Facebook Inc. that will let Call of Duty players meet for online gun battles with others who share various affiliations and interests. Another feature of the service will give Call of Duty players tools, modeled on those from stock-trading websites, to analyze their performance within the game, gauging factors such as which weapons have been most successful for them in killing enemies.'"

Way to ruin Call of Duty some more .

I doubt I will ever go back to playing this, but if I do, it'll be on CoD4. Before they started going downhill with the games...

    Despite the stupidity....

People will buy it, and be grateful.

I hope your ready for all games to follow the "success" of MW3 by going this route. I know MMOs have been doing this forever...but I don't play those for a few reasons...main one begin pay to play.

    I wonder, will MW3 cost $60? I bet it will...maybe even $65!

Probably right. This game will be taking even more money from people than the past installments. $60 a year (probably, unless they do decide to raise it), along with whatever the cost for this will be. I will never buy a game that forces me to pay several dollars a MONTH to play.

I'm not speaking bad of people who enjoy these games, I'm just saying that I don't agree with how much of a cash cow this series has become (imo).
