Who else wants to add to this list of how many scenarios a mic could be useful in?

Re: I need to straighten this out
You know, I was staying out this because as much as I agree with everyone, according to our server rules, you do not have to use a mic. And...if you had just said, you can't use one, the whole thing would have been dropped long ago. But you say you can use one and choose not to because you have nothing valueable to say to your team...so maybe we are not just trying to get to use a mic, but actually realize how important it is to communicate with a team in a teamplay game.
Maybe once, someone saw this great player and said, he is great player, he needs a mic...and your answer was...Oh I have one, I just don't see the point.
I am not the most vocal person in the game. Chances are, I see the guy and I am dead before I have a chance to say anything to anyone. I send more time concentrating on not dieing than I do talking to everyone, but I offer what I can...when I can.
...I am able to call out my airstrikes. That alone, especially from a good player, such as yourself, who actually gets quite a few them...well it is helpful to your team. Only you know you have an airstike and only you know where you are putting it.

If you have a mic and can't use it because of family, kids, whatever that's cool, but to sit here and say you have one but refuse to use it because you never thought of anything that would help your team out is just plain retarded.
Do not be preaching this bullshit in our house, end of discussion.
If you want to continue not using your mic in game that is fine but don't come in here advocating it saying there is no benefit to it.

I agree.. I'm growing tired of seeing this thread pop up in my "Unread replies" list.

Locked per OP's wishes.
This thread and indeed this topic has run its course. LuckyDucky, my only advice is to read Biscuit's statement and take it to heart. We as admins of the server don't care that you don't use your mic. But repeatedly saying that you have a mic but you won't use it because "There isn't a point" rubs us the wrong way and is borderline anti-teamplay.
Take all of what we have said to heart and either reconsider your opinion on mic use or never mention the subject again.
In fact consider this a warning to everyone who plays COD4. This subject is dead and finished.
