knigtstemplar
when this gusy frist showed up, IMHO he was sponging kills.
but now i think he gets the game we play here and is playing great IMHO, his scores are reflection of work vs camping/sponging.
maybe he plays a little more reckless and charging headlong to objectives. . Id hate to think he dumbed his game down.
from what ive seen as of late he is always on the radar for the objective, using his mic (unlike a ducky)
most REGS at TTP will let you know if your fucking up, but they are also the frist to say good job/well played.

Re: knigtstemplar
I can do either way honestly.
I'm not dumbing down my play, but I can adapt if people don't like what I do.
I have played competitively in SD , TDM, and CTF. So, I know it takes different styles for different game types.
If someone needs to lead the way and cap objectives I can and will.
I can also keep the enemy off of the point very well and provide excellent cover fire.
I get too many complaints for laying down fire, but when you don't cover the objective the other team is able to nade and run up the stairs too easily. Some people disagree, but it only takes 3 people to capture a point quickly...not the whole team.
I just enjoy playing and I like the server because of the interaction and team play.

Welcome to the forums knight, and as for Ducky not using his mic, I wish mine would work right. I have everything set to max and it is still to low(I have to talk very loud with it right at my mouth) on COD4. This can get anouying for the little wife. I don't understand because it works fine on all the other games I play. I even bought a new more expensive headphones set and it's still the same. Last night someone metioned installing a mic booster from offline. Please post the name and addy to where you got it. It may or may not help but I would be willing to try it.

Re: knigtstemplar
brink i was the one that said something about it. The program i had a messup with my sound driver or something and i ran windos updater and it told me that there IDT control may need to be installed to fix the issue. I installed it and it added another dam sound control panel to me PC so i decided to look at it. While looking though all the options i found one in advanced mic that it has a boost level option that goes 10, 20, 30 or 40. Mine was at 20 which as i understand it is default mic boost. You may want to take this info over to the tech forum and ask about it.
