Play I believe it's called Battle Grounds. It's an online civil war type era multiplayer Steam game and it has a lot of players. I used to play it and it's very addicting and very realistic. Endurance, long ass reload times and the art of melee with the bayonet or sword is very key. Maps are very large and very well made. Graphics are that of Half Life, but they recently dropped a new version out with the Source Engine. Tactics aren't very key because you die so easily and your weapon is ridiculously unaccruate you can miss at point black range. They have 3 classes I believe, Officer with a pistol and sword, Militia with a long hunting rifle and regulars with the standard musket. If you really want a civil war type game then this is your best bet.

I played both the HL and HL2 versions. Never really got a good player population. the last time i loaded up BG:S there were three servers, two were empty.

Vietnam is viewed as ugly, scary, unjust, and shameful. WWII is seen as noble, brave, right, and victorious. Therein lies most game developers' key hurdle.

The problem is that we've relived it countless times already. Why do they keep trying to dry out dry this already dry sponge? I'll still buy the game since I truly enjoy WW2 games, but the change of pace in COD4 was just great. Also if it's only released for consoles like COD3, I'll burn Trey Arch to the ground... TOO THE GROUND!
