Thread: I can't up my resolution

Every time I try to up my resolution in COD4 the game crashes to desk top and I get the "Direct X has encountered an unrecoverable error." I just updated Direct X so I'm not sure what to do.

Right now it's at 640x something else which sucks since I can't see everything on screen. I'd like it to be at 1152x864.

Shut down xfire and than run the game and change the settings. After you change the settings you can turn Xfire back on.

I Can't believe that worked honestly Xfire's a little gremlin :P
