How do you get gold things anyway?

Other than the GDeagle, you get gold skins by completing all kill and headshot requirements for each weapon in a weapon genre (e.g. Assault Rifles, Shotguns, etc.). You only get one gold skin that can only be used for a single weapon in each genre.
Submachineguns: Uzi
Sniper Rifles: Dragunov
Assault Rifles: AK-47
LMGs: can't remember
Shotguns: Semi-Auto
The gold shotty is quite bitchin actually, and if I wanted to be able to stealth someone with a gun from 200 yds away and not be seen, I'd use a sniper rifle for the ghilly suit and just shoot you from 300 yds away. The only time the enemy should see the color of your shotty is in the Killcam.

No idiot stick, there is one weapon for each weapon type (i.e. light machine gun, rifles, SMG's, etc) that comes in gold camo. For rifle it is the AK-47, SMG is uzi, LMG is M-60, shotty is auto shotty, and sniper is the Russian one I forget what it is.
