The SPAS versus autoshotty won't be as obvious. The SPAS fires fewer pellets that do more damage per pellet in a smaller area - the autoshotty does more overall damage at close range, but the SPAS is more accurate and will do more damage at medium ranges because of that.

The AK does the most damage but has a lot of spread (especially while moving) and a slow rate of fire. The M16 does the least damage but has a very high rate of fire and moderate accuracy. The SCAR is right in the middle of everything - medium rate of fire, medium damage, and the best accuracy.

Hunting Rifle is the T1 version of T2's Sniper Rifle - the Sniper Rifle is an upgrade from the Hunting Rifle in every way.

All of the melee weapons except the baseball bat and tonfa (I think it was the baseball bat... might have been the cricket bat) swing in a horizontal line. The baseball bat (or was it cricket bat?) and tonfa swing in a diagonal line. The chainsaw, of course, doesn't really swing at all.

The Uzi and Mac10 are more or less identical. The Uzi has slightly better penetration and more spread than the Mac10, but for all intents and purposes they're basically the same.

All melee weapons (including the chainsaw, too, I think) do 10% of a tank's health per hit - a chainsaw can drop a tank in a couple of seconds assuming the tank's dumb enough to let the SV sit there and do it. The grenade launcher does 350 or so per hit and staggers the tank (a tank in VS has 4000 HP and 6000 in Expert.)

But does Ellis say anything when you look at him?

Maybe if you look at his as one of the other survivors, a tear comes rolling down his cheek.
