Was just pubbing a versus game. On the final level of No Mercy... Great places to hide, limit the mobs ability to get to you. Go under the ramp/stairs heading to the helipad. They can only come at you from one direction. Also when there's a tank sometimes you can get far enough back that the tank can't touch you.

Hmmm interesting. I also found that running to the barn next to the house in the finale of Blood Harvest is a better spot. Two entrances/exits to cover and you can easily get out if there is a tank coming. You can also temporarily bring the group back in the house real quick to grab some more ammo and any lingering health packs.

Yeah, the barn on Blood Harvest is interesting. The specials can't get up to the second level (except the tank) without getting a nice clean headshot. The tank can come up through the hole in the roof, but there's plenty of places you can bail out and get away.

Re: Interesting tactics
I'm kinda half and half towards 'interesting spots' - some I don't mind, some I feel are semi-exploits.
For instance, at the elevator in level 4 of No Mercy, there's a cupboard right next to the elevator. If you have two people crouched in front meleeing and two at the back shooting, it's almost impossible for the zombies to get you, whether they boom you or not. Is it an exploit? /shrug.
Same with the 'under the ramp' trick on the final level.. it's a bit cheap imo, but /shrug.

Well, if you're not playing VS against a tank, and you're not playing on Dead Air or No Mercy, try to get the tank to follow you through a window. Often times the tank will get stuck trying to go through the window. He won't move or attack for a couple seconds - 10 seconds average - allowing you to lay into him without fear of him attacking you. Sometimes he'll go through the window without stopping and other times he'll avoid the window.

Re: Interesting tactics
I think that wouldn't work... The closet is way too easy to defend. I wouldn't think THESE are exploits. Why would they have a little room right there in the first place....?
Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."
Langrad: "We're here to win, not to..."
Me: "Have fun?" "Hahaha"
