Healing at the end of versus mode rounds doesn't affect your score

I still see some people doing this....the scoring formula picks up your health packs stashed at the end of rounds.

So don't waste your time and heal. Get in the safe room and shut the door. Formula will grab your packs for you.

Yeh, here's the formula btw:

Formula:

[(Average Distance Traveled) + (Health Score)] * (Number of Survivors in Safe Room) * (Map Modifier) = Team Score

The health score will pickup the health packs...

Just to clarify - this only counts for held health packs, so if you're at like 21 health and there happens to be a spare health pack lying on the floor nearby, heal, then pick up the other health pack ;p

Now that we're locked into normal mode, absolutely. There's at least a couple of random packs in each level. If I see a health pack and everyone still has theirs, I'll heal up real quick and take the one laying there. every ounce of health saved is more points at the end.

Thats good to know. Ive been pulled out of the safe room by a smoker while I was healing only to be mauled by a horde and a hunter...

I've found the opposite to be true. If you heal, it seems to give you more points at the end of the round.

That is good info, I assumed it did take them into acct as it would be kinda stupid if it didn't, cause yeah, then you have to stop... heal... and then run in, what a waste of time for points. Course, would be kinda fun if it didn't since so often you are running for your life into the safe rooms lol, would make you want to make sure and have those few seconds for points, more points for more infected killed as well =P
