Thread: New addition to the rules

A new style of No-scoping has come to the attention of CoD4 admins, and after examination and review, we have concluded that this style is an EXPLOIT and will not be allowed on the server. If you are caught no-scoping in this style(and you will be caught), there will be consequences.

This style of no scoping allows for unreasonably unrealistic accuracy while hip firing with sniper rifles, and it gives a highly unfair advantage despite being difficult to do.

This "Style" will remain unnamed, because we will not tell anyone of a new exploit for CoD4, or any game for that matter. Use your common sense, if you're doing something that you think may be an exploit, don't do it.

Please note however, this DOES NOT MEAN that No-Scoping is not permitted, you're still free to fire your sniper rifles point blank. Just do not employ specific methods of no-scoping that exploit the game engine. If you want clarification on which "Techniques" are permitted, feel free to send a message to a moderator of this board.

oh great..so uh, if i shoot the Barrett without using the scope that's an offense? how is that an exploit? It's highly inaccurate, but i can kill people, most of the time it's when i can't switch in time to my other weapon in a confrontation. I'm not meaning to sound whatever here, i'm just trying to understand what exactly the exploit is. I never use exploits but I certainly don't want to find myself in the banned section either, you're explanation is just..."vague".
