    How do you Forgive TK?!?

I know the message says "use !f" but when ever I press "1" whether the shift key is held or not my weapons change. SHIT+!+F doesn't seem work, SHIFT+!, f doesn't seem to work. I don't see the message about so-and-so forgives so-and-so for TK, so I don't think it is working.

I tend to get into position for accidental team kills a lot, so I think I better start forgiving before everyone becomes angry with the Biffer.

    Help me help you.

P.S. I can't find this is the stickies anywhere so if it is there, tell me where.

Well, you could probably bind the Forgive Command to a key in the console. As far as I know, all keyboard related actions are directed towards the console instead of the game when using the console. One of the guys here know how to set up the bind commands. I think it's /bind key say "!f" or something like that.

Don't worry Biffer, that little feature is likely going to be removed fairly soon.

I actually like it. Sometimes TKs are accidental, and this helps to clarify that from the admins' standpoint.

So your saying that when you go to type "!f" in chat (with out quotes) your weapons still change?

It sounds like you are doing it wrong. Use all chat, the "T" button and then type out "!forgive" and then part of the person's name that tk'd you. Say I tk'd you and you were going to forgive me it would be "!forgive w4jchosen", without the quotes.

actually, you don't need the name of the TKer. the forgive system already knows who TK'd you. all you have to do is type "!f" in all chat within 30 seconds of you getting TK'd. it shouldn't swap your weapons, because since you will have just been killed, YOU WILL BE DEAD WHEN YOU HAVE TO DO IT!
