HELP

So i haven't played cod4 in a month or two but now when i try to get in game it crashes about 5 Min's in ever time just get the error MSG cod4 exe has stoped working any one else have this problem i haven't changed any settings so i don't have a clue what is going on....

A little more info wouldbe helpful read you log files and see what they say. You probably will not be able to read what they say but take the code and google it. Or post it here

Reinstall the game, that's all I can recommend, the game has done this to me only once so far and this was the only solution that I found to work. Basically your iw files get corrupted for whatever reason and you have to replace them, just back your profile data, reinstall, and check and see if your profiles are there, if not, put your backups there. I'm not sure why they get corrupted but I have a theory.....CAUSE VISTA SUCKS GIANT @#%K!!!

Yeah, uninstall, clear your registry, reinstall, and update all your drivers (just in case).

Hold on hold on... If your running vista and your using Compat mode, DONT. It screws up the game. If that doesnt work then make sure your alowing cod4 to do all its stuff. Make sure nothing for cod4 is blocked. If that doesnt work then reinstall. Remeber no compat modes at all.
