W@W freezes and crashes to desktop after patch

I played W@W after I updated the game and it's randomly crashing now. I don't get why, it didn't do this until after 1.2 got installed.

That's what I was thinking, both COD4 and W@W freezed on me. I get the screen glowing brightly, I go to desktop, then after a few minutes I get a blue screen, DRIVER_IRQL_LESS_OR_NOT_EQUAL. I think it's just something with my graphics card in general.

damn, no theres a huge problem with waw out there. i myself was having issues loading single player (freeze every time id hit the load button) seach google and you are sure to fine something, i do recall seeing your problem whilst searching for an answer to my own, but well.... i dont remember where >_<

Well, if you didn't figure it out from 2142, patches normally break the games, rather then fix them....

Maybe your drvers are old....I know ATI just put some new ones out last week...

No, it's the patch. This patch really did fuck up a lot of shit.

I tried updating my direct X, hopefully that helps. *crosses fingers*

I've only had it happen once so far, but I had issues just installing the patch that drove me crazy. The sound fucked up too but thanks to Spike it was an easy fix.

Hopefully this will be a simple fix too or they'll release a hot fix patch.
