Farkin BS!!! No sound after 1.2 patch!

I noticed Xfire had DL'd the 1.2 patch for the game and I install it... so I figure WTH, I'll go play some CoD5 solo. But OH HELLz N4h!!! No sound for Vista 64. Google'd it... none of the fixes worked for me... great...

Hmmm...
I've never seen you play, but I don't know. There should be somthing in the control panel, about turning the sound down or something...

I've only played 1 time. Went to play it again and installed the 1.2 patch and *BANG* no sound. All of the sound options are greyed out ingame.

I hadto go in to my Control Panel and dick with the sound settings in Windows....I set it to 16bit, 48000 Hz and now it works...

Vista 64 btw...stupid patch...

I set my sound settings to 16bit, 48000Hz prior to the update and had no problems after the patch (other than my usual random lock ups). Vista x64 Ultimate and Soundblaster X-Fi Elite Pro (notorious for non-Vista support).
