Question on map pack/extras

This is for CoD5 as well, I was just thinking, do PC versions get the maps(like 3 new maps for CoD4 I think?) for free? I know 360 requires you to pay like 12.50 or something, dunno exactly.

This would be a big motivator on me getting CoD4(and maybe 5)

Cod4 got 4 free maps out of a map pack, came with a patch. That was long ago, and COd4 never gets patched anymore.

COD WaW is going to have a map pack released, appears it will also include 4 maps and be free.

Word up. When in doubt, always go PC. Aside from my admitted PC bias, remember that very few, if any, console versions of PC games have console-exclusive content. However, Microsoft requires developers to charge for extra content- this was an issue with TF2, as Valve wanted to provide Xbox users with the same updates as PC owners for free, but were required to charge. Updates are bundled to keep the prices down, but they still have to pay for what PC guys get for nothing. PC games are almost always cheaper, they look better, and PC multiplayer is always preferable. These are all true of COD4.
