I have ArmA I on steam, and had no issue, and have never heard of such an issue.

For those bitching about steam, the overlay works with the full game with no problems that I have run into. If you run mods you can either configure it from the steam shortcut or make a desktop shortcut via steam and alter the target line in that to get mods to work.

Thanks for giving this a shot, hopefully we can get it running well. I know there are few servers with voip in game out now, if we can get on the ball then it will be great.

I'd drop PR, because ArmA is like PR x 10000 on crack cocaine. The mod hasn't been going in a positive direction for a couple of patches now, and it's starting to show in the gameplay.

And I already have ArmA 2 ready to go (because Steam is better).

Steam runs great, it's not a dick face like EA Downloader. Overlay works too, steam downloads quick too.
