Possible fix for random crashes etc etc...

I did not even know this till tonight. I found this in the AA3 forums. The Unreal Engine 3 does not like some drivers. The best are said to be 182.xx or the 190.xx. I use 182.50 but may get some newer ones. The newest drivers from nVidia were just released 190.38.

I've also read that the 182.50 can stop the BSOD from happening for some ppl. So if you r getting a Blue Screen of Death then u may want to change your drivers to 182's or 190's.

I have the 186.18 driver. I currently get occasional crashes, and on some maps, notable Alley and Impact, i get a graphical glitch that explodes the Obran. If i follow the VIP i cant see where I'm going, and if an enemy runs up on me, the graphics exploding from his weapon cover my screen. Also, i got the blue screen of death for the first time on this computer 2 nights ago. I will upload the 190.xx that is now available and see how that works.

BTW, my card is an older 7600GS 512, not the best card but it has done VERY well for me considering the price. If i upgrade i will need to do a power supply as well so it will be a while, unless i earn some mad Kohler points over the next couple of months. But i digress.... i will post if there are any improvements with the new driver.

Yea diffenately get rid of the 186 drivers. For whatever reason the UE3 does not like them. Stick with 182 or 190 drivers. My card is the evga gtx260 216. I love the card. Next year a may upgrade an get windows 7 and a 300 series card.
