L4D GOTY or wait for L4D2?

Hello community,
I have never played L4D. But i see the GOTY edition is out and am thinking of getting it. IS TTP going to switch to L4D2 or stay with L4D?

Wondering what version i should gun for....

Its really up to you. Im not sure how many people are going to get the second game as soon as it comes out, but there are still a good number of people that will be still playing the first game for a while like me.

My guess is that if L4D still fills up, then we'll keep it and add L4D2. With that said, idk how much longer our L4D server will last after the 2nd one comes out. Most of our Regs will be making the switch.

Like Adre said... I think initial plans are to host both. L4D1's future at that point is in the hands of those still playing it.

At this point, late in the game, I'd advise you to wait and get the newer version. I'd estimate about half (or more) of the community here will get it within a month of release.
