Thread: Possible fun competition

Reading the team versus thing kind of made me think of an idea. What about a L4D or L4D2 (or both) competition between TTPers?

It could be done 2 ways. Either you pick a team of 4, and then your team faces another team head-to-head to see who wins (could do best of 3 if you prefer).

Or teams get randomly selected and then again fight head-to-head.

Rather simple, but anyone maybe be interested in trying it out sometime?

I like the randomization idea to ensure maximum funness level.

I'll play, but I'd prefer picked/set teams for maximum balance.

I think your going to get balance with free pick, individuals idea of other players skill level means people will likely never come to agreement about whats fair. With a random choices, it just the luck of the draw with a change of really good, really bad, or just fine

Maximum balance of.... stacked teams? Given there are a good number of participants that are very skilled and have played with each other, there will also a number of participants that are not skilled and havent played with us much. So the latter would shoved into a potpourri team of crap while the former would be steam-rolling ahead. I say let fate decide where we are placed.

I think he means the original teams would be random then you would stick with them through the course of the contest.
