What a pain in the fn ass trying to carry this little fucker around for 4 maps + finale at Dead Carnival... At the first part of the carnival there is a shooting game (shoot the ducks going by type of thing), so you play it real quick for 45 seconds and try to get over 750 pts (not too hard) and this garden gnome pops out of a cabinet and you have to carry him the entire rest of the campaign into the finale and grab him before you successfully get on the chopper.

Given I was in single player so it was a bit interesting with the crappy teammate AI, but I managed to do it after a little over 2hrs of playing the campaign. I can see that little 'easter egg'-type achievement being fun with 3 others in game, passing it around like a football.

AWESOME!!!! ohhh man i cant wait, unfortunately i am at work and this laptop can only play solitaire :3 BUT i will be game for whomever wants to go for it this eve.... :9

I remember seeing the gnome in HL2 during the ant-lion missions but I didnt think to do anything with him. Maybe because there arent achievements for that game on the PC (at least I dont think there are). Thats pretty damn funny though.

The gnome is an object you carry just like a gas can or propane tank. So you can shove with it but you cant use it as a melee weapon.

The exact same gnome statue you have to carry around for the entirety of Episode Two for the achievement. Fun times.

If its only HL2:Ep2 it wouldnt be so bad, considering the fact that it only takes about 15 minutes to go through it.

takes much longer than that and you have to get it into the car.

its really not that hard doing it in ep2, just use the grav gun and when ever you get attacked use it as your first bullet, then remember where it lands, pull out your shotgun go to work on the baddies, pick up the gnome and continue on your merry way,

the car was the hardest part, the way i did it, i jammed it through the back window and made it stay there even though if you hit something too hard itll go flying out
