Re: Differences between L4D1 and L4D2
Funny... Krom was just stating last night that he thought the hordes were significantly weaker than in the first game. I ain't so sure, but I'm thinking there's possibly LESS CI in a horde than before.

Less CI, but they spawn in from behind now too. I caught the directer spawning a couple out of thin air behind us one time. Those are the killer ones because they limit your movement and just chip away at your health all game.
And yes, Boomer just went from low SI on the totem pole to an effective combo starter.

I guess I mean more of an effective combo starter. Before you would get a boom off and the Survivors would find a corner and just melee spam and shoot. Now with the new SI, thats not possible one bit and people tend to freak a bit more.

Re: Differences between L4D1 and L4D2
-Hunter pounce stun time has definitely been increased, which makes them much more effective than in 1, IMO, as you can usually get in at least 3 slashes before the survivors hit you off.
-Tank has been nerfed, unless all four RED survivors were on adrenaline during that fight in Swamp Fever (Frag might remember it). I hit someone once and someone else twice (downing that one) but the rest of the time I was FUCKING CHASING THEM. AND THEY WERE FUCKING RED.
-Infected AI is DEFINITELY better, not only due to the tank AI upgrade but I also noticed them working together. A Jockey once steered me into a Spitter acid pool while a boomer hit the bots. It infuriated me since it was my SP run-through on Normal.
IMO the Charger is very difficult to use at first, especially in open campaigns like SF. Therefore, he is often wasted by inexperienced players or simply bad maps.
I've played part of DC, and all of SF and TP in Versus. SF so far is the worst campaign for Versus being the hardest for the Infected team, due to the huge open areas and lack of real cover for the SI to spawn behind. My prediction is that HR will be the toughest in VS by times a million.WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS, BURN DOWN LIFE'S HOUSE
