I played Dark Carnival on versus just last night(morning), I have to say it's tough playing infected on the finale. Poor spawn points and little in the way of cover. Still haven't played The Parish or Swamp Fever.

I also got pulled through the train station by a charger on the roller coaster level, and got squished by the coaster.

Dumb question, but why do you wait to crouch as a hunter?

Ah bitter ramblings... Just couldnt click on our SI side. We held our own (for the most part) on Surv but couldnt complete combos on SI. So it life...

DR5 ain't that bad for infected as long as you use what cover there IS available. Teams usually stay at the top of the bleachers or on the stage, and there's a reasonable amount of cover available between the hordes/tank and towers and whatnot.

I'd say Hard Rain is among the hardest for infected, simply because tanks are so hard to use there. There's too many things sitting around to allow effective use of the cars, going inside the restaurant is a deathtrap, and by time you climb onto the roof, they can just hop off and run in circles throughout the restaurant. Then again, in the off chance a jockey or smoker manages to yank someone outside in the back yard, you can dunk them in the drink for an instant kill. Still, that map's a bitch for infected.

He means the hunter makes noise the entire time it is crouching so you stay standing up until you are ready to pounce so you dont give yourself away.

Sorry, I guess my post is more ambigious than I thought. I know about the noises the hunter makes, and the fact that it's the only special infected character that can go entirely silent. What I was asking, though, was why Mort ran up infront of the survivors and then chose to crouch. He was in plain view, all the other infected players were respawning, and he did absolutely no damage.

Apologies, I don't mean to insult Mort. I love watching regular gameplay videos, gives me something to compare to and improve on outside of the game.

I've never realized how entertaining it is to watch yourself play from another player's view XD
I remember that boomer kill... I definitely thought I had messed it up because of how close you were.... sometimes the boomer boom range seems temperamental.
