    I completely agree. The difference is that less experienced / skilled SV teams now rarely make it to the safe room in L4D2, where they had a better chance in L4D1.
    Definitely. Versus is still fun, but I think that Valve either ignored mistakes made in L4D, or simply didn't consider them mistakes at all. I really do think it'd be more exciting and competitive if there were no random medkit spawns.

    I also think that the scoring system should reward people for getting to the safe room with some items on their person, to offer another strategic option beyond "rush to the safe room and don't stop for items unless you're really hurt."

    For me, it just seems that every time i play vs, i end up getting put on a team of no-mic pugs, against a team of reasoned vs' players and always, always get wooped.

    Good solution to over powered bonus there pizza. A decent 260 points for making it to the safe house with goodies seems reasonable to me.

    And on the note of random med spawns, I do believe those should not be there.
    Sometimes they don't even spawn in the same place for the other team. For example, last night, Ewok, Rick Rambis, MorningFrost and I were playing on Dead Center map 2. We had a med kit spawn in the beginning in the back of the delivery truck near the tent. When the other team went, they only had pills in the back there which made no sense to me. If they do have random med spawns, why not make them the same for both teams? Overall, they just shouldn't have them I suppose. And if they are there... come on, juts make it the same for both teams. :5
