You play with a rifle, well when a Tank rolls around and you have no shotty to put him down faster then you're playing unprepared too. That's more sloppy than without fire. Sure you can kill him with a rifle, but using a shotty is much easier and faster. Same logic. Same logic can also be used with events like the 3rd in carny. You take too much damage while reloading you gun, when I can breeze through the event with a melee, but no melee's are for sloppy no good vs players that don't know the game.
And again another campaign map that we breezed through when a vs match on the same map is almost never beaten. I rarely ever see anyone beat passing or dead center endings on vs.

Re: REAL DEAL
next time the tank shows up, adretheon, you go right ahead and take him down with your shotgun.
I've played enough rounds with you that the lies here are enough. Talk is cheap. And in-game, when a tank shows up, I see you do exactly what anyone who wants to live does. Burn him, and move. Not stand there and think close range shot gunning is going to do a god damn thing.
I have never, even once, heard you say "no, I got this, I have a shot gun, I can kill the tank". Sure, we all GET LUCKY now and then, most especially if the tank is in a spot that allows us the mobility to rotate and do it right. But.....90% of the time, the tank is not standing in some predetermined, easy access open area. Sometimes it's right outside the saferoom door. Sometimes it's at the end safe room. Sometimes it's during the event. And sometimes it's not.
How do you prepare for such unpredictability? You pack what's going to "win" in a majority of situations. Flame to kill the tank. And guns that shoot at distance to save people who get jockied off, smoked, charged, or hunted at distance.
Or, you can be one of those versus clowns that carries a shotgun and a bat, making them worthless when they get knocked down, worthless when they're at distance, and worthless in saving anyone far away. Precious seconds of injury that just wouldn't happen, period, if they had a rifle.
But no...they carry a shotgun...just in case there's the one time they get to shoot a tank with it.
Lies. Period. Calling you a liar. Liar, pants on fire. Liar. And turning this into a "well I can handle it, and I'll take care of it, and a real teamplayer can ahndle it" man show is ridiculous.
I most certainly can handle it, and pikc up the slack, and deal with the mistakes. It's guaranteed at least 1, if not 2 members of the team are going to be rookies or vs slobs. And make silly mistakes and require their hands to be held. And have to be reminded to actually pick up things, when it should be patently obvious they aren't carrying a pipe, molly, or bile. Or a pack or defib. Or a deagle.
"I have a shot gun, it's going to hurt the tank"........ is about as dumb as saying "oh, there's a witch, watch, I'm going to crown her". Sure, today blitz got lucky and pulled it off (albeit ended up laying on the ground requiring us to revive him). It's likely a 25% chance of pulling it off, and that kind of crap costs hours of rinse and repeat. For no reason other than "oh, I do this all the time in vs, my shot gun is leet" bs.
Ridiculous. Lies.
