    Re-skinning L4D1 maps?

    So I'm thinking about "redoing" the old L4D maps on L4D2. Shouldn't be to hard. I'd assume just a C&P and fixing texture issues.

    There is a No Mercy out there, but when we played it it was glitchy and broken.

    So If I do decide to take the time to do this which map should I start with?

    Dead Air, definitely. Best original campaign after No Mercy.

    Dead Air or No Mercy, should try to add some new stuff to it as well, just to make them interesting (like panic events, uncommons, maybe alternative pathing, etc)

    I would love to see the L4D1 maps rebalanced for L4D2 play.

    I don't really see why we would need to re-skin them though. All the textures are in L4D2 also or at least they work in L4D2.

    I would love to see uncommon infected for dead air. We would need a long discussion, multiple ideas, and at least 2 votes to come up with the perfect thing for uncommon. Something that fits both portions of the map. Or maybe rather 2 different uncommons for the roofs and the terminal/parking lot.

    Actually re-thinking about the map the whole campaign really doesn't really fit together well for uncommons, but then again DC only had uncommons in a few levels, I think...

    w/e it would be an interesting project.

    hmm the best i can think of at the moment would be police/military with a back-story of it maybe being under curfew when the outbreak first struck? *shrugs*

    I would love to see a panic event where you have to shut off the power to turn off an alarm from the security gate or something *shrugs*
