I too think it should be the more experienced players being split up from the get-go as captains. Last night we had thorsen and myself on the same team (I was the fat kid that game dammit) and we won... it was a lot closer than I thought it would be, but it was still lopsided I thought.

I'm still thinking that it's player based. No matter how you "even" it up somethings gunna go wrong. You'll have a bad day, someone will be busy and not focused, or you'll end up missing every charge\hunt(fuck I hate missin those). I think Thorsen's way of picking the two newest people and having them choose teams is prbly the best. There's less of a chance that it'll be stacked, and odds are they'll chose people they like playing with. So if it is stacked they'll at least have a fun time. And the better players in the lobby can say after teams are picked if they think it'll go smoothly.

Yeah you had me worried and yelling at the last there... You guys needed one more gas can and it was sitting 5 feet from the generator... we just had you messed up too badly for you to get it.

That match one The Passing was a great example of a VERY well balanced game of VS. Within less than a hundred points at the end. Very good game.
