Re: This is why Random Sucks:
i really dont see the fat kid thing that you guys are all talking about... since there are not even 10 players in the game really it isnt a big deal. If there were alot of people picked before you i could see the whole fat kid thing but if you really look at it there are only 2 people per team picked before you. Big deal.

probably piss some people off saying this BUT, if you have to have "Captains" to have even teams, that shows how bad our community is at policing ourselves. Seriously, can 8 people not figure out when you have two newbs to split them up or to split two experienced players or callers? Instead we need to designate 2 people to decide what is even because the other 6 can't figure it out?

Well you didn't piss me off, but you certainly confused me. It seems like you've contradicted yourself. First you say we shouldn't need captains because we should be able to make fair teams ourselves. Then you say we should... split up noobs/strat callers... which is what making captains is? Unless you mean we should somehow telepathically all come to a consensus on what the teams are and automatically switch to that when the lobby fills? Or you mean put it to a vote? Or just sort of... chose teams on a whim? It seems like picking two captains who are either the two noobiest or the two best and then mixing it up from there is both effective and efficient.

Nah this didn't bother me either.... Simply this: I want to play L4D2 and not have a senate meeting to choose the teams - 8 people have 8 opinions we all want to hear our opinions validated. I see it as TTPL4D2 had grown up now to be mature enough to say: Everyone can it, you two pick.
