Re: L4D Blog: WEEK 12
Confogl is more than just removing medkits. There are many other issues it addresses.
It's also worth noting Healthpackalypse doesn't really address any major issues. If you want to say the Survivors are all given a Fatman (Fallout 3 reference for you poor souls who haven't played it), this new mutation just gives the Fatman to the Infected team.
Survivors should be able to recover from mistakes - it's not fun to die every single time because there is no forgiveness. But the problem with vanilla is that it's too forgiving, which means it's not very fun for Infected players (most of the time.) There should be some health items - just not many. They should be rare, precious, and using one should be an important decision.Last edited by PizzaSHARK!; 07-24-10 at 12:25 AM.

Re: L4D Blog: WEEK 12
We played last night and I didn't even notice that there wasn't any health packs until someone pointed it out. And we were still getting people into safe rooms. Sometimes... There were a lot of drunk people playing though.
Regardless... I could deal with it the way it is... Health packs to start and pills and adrenaline to find. It seemed reasonably good last night as far as balance.
But I'll pass on confogl's way of doing things.
