Make sure you have Alien Swarm SDK installed in the "Tools" Section of your Steam library. Launch the game normally, open console with ~ (make sure that's enabled in the Keyboard Options) Type Sv_Cheats 1, then ASW_Tilegen, new menu will appear over the main menu.

It looks REALLY good. I just don't like the the control scheme, though. It seems better suited to a control pad.

I played it last night thinking I would only do so for the TF2 hat - but it was actually pretty fun once I got the hang of the view. As a pure FPS it would be better I think.

Setting the game to FPS mode makes it look like it'd be a much more challenging game. That is awesome though that they have that option and all the textures appear to render correctly still. My only complaint would be that you can't see your weapon.

But I suppose I could get use to it if it was more challenging and fun.

Sorry for not getting on last night, I had some things come up last minute. At least it sounds like you still were able to get a full group though.

It was a bad idea to play this game before i had any plans for the first, basically didnt go to sleep like i wanted too, wifey didnt like that either, way to go addicting games

I kind of like that it isn't in first person because it makes it different. It reminds me of the old game Gauntlet and those types of games from the NES days.
