Replay thread
Figured there should be one.
Here is one for you Meno.
Bronze player (me) beats a gold player. Not sure how this guy got gold unless the standards have come down. He wasted so much on cannons it is unreal, the totally left his expo out to die.
Oh and the crappy thing is. The match was not favored in his direction. It was even, but I am still in bronze. =/
Edit: Messed up on the link.

Re: Replay thread
I just had a nice comeback vs a 1000 level diamond toss. He crippled me early but didn't keep enough pressure on to finish the job. Check this replay out.

Re: Replay thread
Wow. That was pretty bad. He was pretty good on his econ, but all his nexus had almost full energy the whole time. I can't say much as that is one of my faults as well, but atleast I know it. I am willing to bet he was a void ray toss and it got him to diamond until the patch and now he does not know how to play. Quite a few of his 7 gates never made units, and he was teching up to HT, DT, and collossi after trying void rays. With 7 gates up. You can't keep that going. You will never have enough gas to make all those units. He never had more than 20-25 combat units at a time. I have seen this a lot in the lower tiers (Gold, Plat), where they got to that level with void rays and now don't know how to use any other unit or were never really that good anyway. I guess they only have one working key on their key board..."v".

Re: Replay thread
Yea, he made a lot of mistakes. He is probably a one trick pony. I specifically remember getting ready to quit and thinking what the hell. Really you can learn more from his end about having a long term plan and taking advantage of times you have the lead.

Re: Replay thread
Yeah, you need to choose a tech and stick with it. Personally if I was at that much of an advantage after the void ray attack I would have teched up to carrier with some phoenixes and void rays.
Once you went Muta the collossi were useless, so he goes HT and DT?? That was not a good choice.
Very good replay though. Shows that you never need to give up just because you get harassed.Last edited by Agamemnon; 10-26-10 at 08:34 PM.
