TeamSpeak is our equivalent of standard VOIP present in other TPG hosted games. The standards present on our other servers regarding voice chat, are present on TeamSpeak for BC2.

#1 Do not spam, or monopolize the channels
TeamSpeak’s purpose is to be a channel of communication for the team; it’s meant to enable coordination, calls, and team oriented discussion. It is not meant to be a place for you to spout off about a kill spree for 30 seconds, or that marksman headshot you got, or your triple kill with a frag. Those are nice, and fine in moderation, but they most likely aren’t relevant to the objective. We do not need to hear about your every kill or death.

If you’re going to use TeamSpeak, and you should, you need to bind a push to talk key. We aren’t going to ask anymore, this is now mandatory. We don’t need to hear everything going on in your house, or anything that comes out of your mouth (or in for that matter), or you mashing your keyboard. Bind a key, learn to use it, and control your spam. Anyone suspected of using voice activation instead of push to talk, will now be subject to kicks in game until you’ve bound your keys. It will be treated exactly the same as standard mic spam, which will also be punished in the same fashion as other games we host. PLEASE DO NOT BIND YOUR KEY TO THE SAME AS IN-GAME VOIP!
    #2 Courtesy is a must
You got fragged; OK, were you capturing a control point or arming an Mcom? No? Then it isn’t relevant to the team, and we don’t need to hear about it on TeamSpeak. TeamSpeak isn’t the place for you to moan and complain about things in game, whether it be dying, hit registration, the number of snipers there are ripping people apart, or how your team's being destroyed. We’re all here to have fun; having to listen to a negative nancy, or a sore loser, really does a number on the general mood of a team. If you want to whine or carry on, do it without your transmit key toggled.

Racist or bigoted comments will not be tolerated. You will be warned and then removed from the server. It doesn't matter if soldiers in Vietnam called the enemy 'gooks'. That term has no place in our servers, nor does any other derogatory term for any race, religion or creed.
    #3 We’ve never played ‘dibs’
Just because we have a team wide chat channel, does not mean you can ‘call’ assets. We operate under first come, first served; if you don’t get to that tank before someone else does, it isn’t yours. Calling an asset holds no water here, and is entirely meaningless.
#4 TeamSpeak is NOT a recruitment channel
If you want to go play Vietnam, then go play Vietnam. Recruit your buddies over Steam and xfire, and go play. Do not get on TeamSpeak and BC2 to talk about, and recruit people to go play ‘Nam. This is the same as advertising other servers, and stealing population from our servers. It isn’t cool, and it isn’t tolerated. This is everyone’s official warning: if you persist in coming onto TeamSpeak to recruit players to play elsewhere, it WILL be met with harsh punishment.

    4) You'll probably want to make a bookmark: Bookmarks -> Add to Bookmarks
You can edit your bookmark and tell it to Connect on Startup.
    5) Once connected, you'll want to go to the Monday night Combat channel.

    Go into "Settings" then "Options"

    Then choose "Notifications"

Expand "Client" then "Switched" and "Moved".

Uncheck everything so it looks like this:

This is a fast and loose fix. It isn't perfect because you won't here notifications of new people joining the channel. But it this annoys you to no end, then this is how to disable it.
