    Caging characters on The Parish

Going to watch a let's play by MrFlameifrit (Love the LPs he does xD), ran into this video he did. Don't play a bunch, but I don't think I've ever seen this happen before, and thought it is kind of funny:

Lol pretty funny. What would you do if that happened? Would you just have to leave him?

We had a similar discussion a while back when someone was bounced over the fence right at spawn of the Dark Carnival finale by a Charger. It was kind of torn in half with people calling bs and some saying play on. I look at it just like a death charge on Parish finale or a tank homerun on No Mercy finale.

Yup. Never seen THAT one before but I've seen plenty of people get dropped by charges or tanks into places they shouldn't be and can't get out of.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

There is a better one than that...something about wraith, and the opening part of the dark carny finale... =)

Like the time I tank-punched Gonzo into some rocks on Blood Harvest (map 3 opening, I think?) in L4D1, where he got stuck and could not get out. We tried everything to get him out of there. popping a boomer on him, smoking him, SV melee punching him, incapping him and seeing if picking him up would pop him out... all 8 of us standing there, scratching our heads. Finally the determination was to play on.

This has happened to me... it's not fun and here's why: You can't start the finale with that survivor trapped over the fence.

I agree, it should be considered a death charge, but here's the thing with the finale on Dark Carn. If the player that is trapped is still alive and the remaining survivors want to start the finale event they cannot, because they need all 4 survivors to start it. I feel that to continue the SI must kill the "trapped" / "death charged" individual in order to make it a fair fight. A death charge would kill in most situations, but in this one it doesn't, and really fk's the game royally.

On the youtube page (where you can see the description and comments and junk) it says the song is:
    Tea and Crumpets by nal1200

EDIT: Apparently nal1200 is over at newgrounds (and done other songs), the full version:
