L4D2 Terminology Guide
Blocking Spawns - standing around a corner or on the other side of an object to block the special infected from spawning.
Crown - Shooting the witch in the back of the head with a shotgun to kill her in a single shot. Cannot be done in Realism VS mode.
Death Charge/ Death Smoke/ Death Jockey - a place in a map where a single charge/ smoker pull/ jockey would place a survivor in an unreachable place to the other survivors.
Finale - the last map on a campaign.
Ground - short for "Good Round", something a cool guy would say to his team. This very well-respected phrase was popularized by Knee of Justice.
gg - short for "good game".
Horde - a large mob of zombies.
Skeet - the act of killing a hunter with a single shot while the hunter is in mid-pounce.

Re: L4D2 Terminology Guide
If you fire fast enough, you should be able to drop a witch with an autoshotty before she activates, even on realism. Witch only has 1000 HP and takes extra damage from shotguns. You can't crown her, but you can still drop her.
That said, it's still a lot safer to simply headshot her and gun her down. Crowning is for showing off.
