Is the game worth the money?

I'm been debating on getting Brink in the later future to support game play for TPG... I'm wanting to know if Brink is worth the $20 bucks at gamestop...

My opinion: There aren't that many maps and gameplay usually consists of the attacking team dieing over and over again for long periods of time.

NO I bought it at QC thinking that it'd be worth it since we host a server, I was wrong. maybe when it gets down to like 9 bucks or as part of a bundle sure but other wise save your cash.

I would say no as well. It is ok and worth maybe 20 hours. I got it as part of the QC pack.....
The first time I played, I hated it. Played some more and I can say it is fun. Fun, yes, worth more than 20 hours, I doubt it.

Yeah if I bought it for anymore than $20 I would highly regret it. Just not my cup of tea but the curiosity in me and the $20 special Amazon had was enough for me to try it.

It's worth $20, I paid $25 for it on Steam.

I think it is totally worth it. The gameplay is refreshing compared to other shooters out there.

Some people just want to play CSS until they die. I have a Pentium 4 and an ATI 9600XT from 2004 if you are so interested in living in the past.

On a serious note, the dynamics of the game are unique, the fire fights get intense, the graphics are great, and the game is designed around teamplay.

All of the ads that I saw about Brink before it came out looked amazing. I never had a chance to play it. Other than HeavyG's post I feel like anything I have heard about Brink is negative as hell. Does anyone know why Brink fell on it's ass so hard?
