Re: Quitting on TPG Games???
Interestingly enough, we had 2 brand new people on our team at the start of the map. One had to leave and we picked up someone else who is relatively new. So don't everyone start with this "bad example" bullshit. We picked them up so we could make sure they didn't get raged at while trying to learn. We were helping them. Just making sure this is understood.
What should be learned from this thread? Think before you speak. If you're not sure about something, send them a message before you make a thread about it and make people look bad for something that you didn't understand. NONE of this would have happened had the messaged someone and asked. You what's even more pitiful? Was when I got a message from someone getting onto me for leaving a game and I didn't know what the fuck was up because I didn't think a thing of it. I didn't know what Euro meant. But I do remember Knee asking if that was okay 2 or 3 times and a few people saying that's fine. I then saw people saying GG and 2 people leave. At that point, I think it was a safe assumption game was over. Pretty damn pitiful.
I swear to God, for a community of mostly "older" people there is more fucking drama here than I have in high school.Speed. I am speed.

Re: Quitting on TPG Games???
Everyone take a few deep breaths and calm down.
It's quite simple.
If all 8 players in a game agree to end the game prematurely, it is well within their right to do so. If you wish to end a game early, make absolutely SURE that everyone agrees with it.
Knee, not everyone knows what "euro" means, be sure to explain it in detail. If even 1 player on 1 team says they wish to play the finale, you are obligated to finish what you started.
Knee asked and got an answer, it seems after the fact that some people misunderstood or didn't voice their concerns. Lesson learned: Next time be more deliberate and careful.
Now let's go play.

Re: Quitting on TPG Games???
just want to point out that before this thread I had never heard the word "euro" if i were in the same shoes as the OP (coming back after not playing tpg l4d2 for a while) i would have acted the exact same way.
the only difference in the 2 of us being that trent has come back to active l4d2 whereas i have not yet done so.
if anything is to be learned from this is that dont expect everybody to understand the lingo or jargon that you have developed.
.....lfg ubrs 10 rend run anyone?
