Re: Unused L4D2 weapons
Reminds me of the camping trip down to Missouri I took once, I woke up early and decided it'd be a good idea to scare the guys awake in the morning by tying a small (but full) propane can to a low hanging tree limb and shooting it with a 300 Win Mag. I blew the leaves off half of the tree and flattened one of the guys tents nearby... they were all rather pissed at me.
Later that night, we chucked some road flares and lined up the rest of our propane cans up in between them, and shot tracers at them. The tracers didn't ignite anything, but the flares did, once the propane reached the appropriate percentage to air ratio... pretty, at night.
We spent the REST of that night hiding from Missouri State police and MP's because one guy decided to shoot a few mags of tracers straight up screaming "LOOKS JUST LIKE BAGHDAD DON'T IT!!!!".. we were on the fringes of (maybe IN) the borders of Whiteman AFB (not far from where they parked Oscar-01's ICBM field, if I recall correctly).
Not many people know it, but there's old ICBM missile silos dotting 10,000 square miles of Missouri back country.
PROBABLY not something you want to go poking around, post 9/11.. just saying.

Wow. Turns out they made Oscar-01 a museum after '95, with guided tours of the launch control facility.
Damn, now I need a vacation. The thought of "pressing the button" - the ACTUAL FUCKING BUTTON .... that would have launched off Minuteman III ICBM's... I might not be able to resist that one.
